A standing hoist is used by service users that have lost balance or strength to stand independently.  However, it?s important the service user has the ability to weight-bare e.g. support their own body weight using their legs with supportive assistance.

The stand aid or standing aid, is the preferred method by the NHS and care professionals to manoeuvre service users in various positions safely and with dignity.

Many people need assistance to do simple task which we take for granted such as going to the toilet with dignity. In the past; Care worker (not necessarily trained to lift people) have hurt themselves after years of lifting and assisting people to get to the toilet, in the event they get caught short, they have to go back to their room and get a change of clothes and this can be a regular occurrence during the day for some.

The standing hoist is an aid that has revolutionised the way in which service users are handled and assisting care professionals to lift with minimal strain or pain.  the Molift Quick Raiser range of Stand Aids are an excellent solution that?s easy to use, affordable and long lasting.  There are 3 (three) versions to accommodate various weights of service users.
